Washington University Internal Medicine Residency Program Hosts New Gateway to Residency Program

On Tuesday, August 22nd the Washington University Internal Medicine Residency Program hosted their first Gateway to Residency Program event.  Sixteen selected fourth-year medical students participated in a highly focused workshop that prepared them to submit for the upcoming residency application cycle. 

Participants had the opportunity to:

  • Hear expert advice from the Internal Medicine Program Director and Faculty.
  • Fine-tune their personal statement
  • Hone their interview skills
  • Leverage social media during the application process
  • Network with Internal Medicine residents
  • Develop long-lasting mentorship relationships with WU faculty and house staff

A big thank you to the Internal Medicine Residents and Faculty who volunteered with the Gateway to Residency Program to make it a success.
