Dr. George awarded RO1 funding from the NIH/NIAID
George Kyei, MBChB, PhD, Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases was awarded $393,750 in RO1 funding from the NIH/NIAID for research on “Protein interactions regulating HIV replication in macrophages”. The goal is to identify cellular factors that control HIV replication and find therapeutic targets for host-directed viral control or elimination.
