The DOM Vice Chair for Health Equity and Office of Inclusion and Diversity (OID) hosted a Summer Welcome & Networking event for URiM trainees and faculty on Sunday, August 21st from 6:00-8:00pm. The event used community building activities to encourage guests to meet and interact with each other.

Diversity House Staff Council Kicks Off New Speaker Series on May 17th
The Diversity House Staff Council kicked off a new speaker series called How Did I Get Here? on May 17th at 6:00pm. Assistant Professor, Juan Reyes Genere, MD, from the Division of Gastroenterology was the first speaker. On March 30th, OUTmed, LGBTQ+med, and the Academy of Educators hosted the first-ever Queerer Mentoring Workshop. Over 35 faculty, fellows, residents, staff, and students attended from across the School of Medicine for this workshop and networking event.
