MEDA and the WASHU Black Postdoctoral Association were thrilled to host speakers in February and March for their monthly Career Series.
- On February 20th, Melissa Berrien-Elliott, PhD spoke on “Bridging the Gap – My Journey as a Translational Immunologist”. Dr. Berrien-Elliott is a former WashU Medicine faculty member in the Division of Oncology and is now an Assistant Professor in the Molecular and Immunology Department at St. Louis University School of Medicine.
- On March 13th, new WashU faculty member Kevin Cox, PhD presented “Tiny Cells, Big Questions: How I Found My Passion in Plant Spatial Biology”. Dr. Cox is an Assistant Professor at WashU and an Assistant Member at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center.
