The NIH Loan Repayment Programs (LRPs) are a set of programs established by Congress designed to recruit and retain highly qualified health professionals into biomedical or biobehavioral research centers. The NIH LRPs pay up to $35,000 annually of qualified educational debt in return for a commitment to engage in NIH mission-relevant research.

The NIH LRPs will accept applications from September 1 – November 15. Visit the LRP’s Eligibility & Programs page for the full eligibility requirements.
